PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND:
As a Licensed Professional Counselor, Mr. Pope is trained to work with
individuals and couples in the following areas:
• Sexual and relationship addiction
• Pornography addiction
• Co-dependency and co-sex addiction
• Issues surrounding trauma and abuse
• Marriage and relationship counseling
EDUCATION
Mr. Pope received his B.A. degree in Psychology and Sociology and his M.S.
degree in Counseling Psychology from
Purdue
University
. In addition, Mr. Pope has received advanced training in treatment of sexual
addiction from the International Institute for Trauma and Addiction
Professionals (IITAP) and is a Professional Member of the Society for the
Advancement of Sexual Health (SASH).
PERSONAL
Mr. Pope served with Campus Crusade for Christ as a missionary overseas and
stateside providing mental health assistance for married international
missionaries. He is married and the father of two children. Mr. Pope is a coffee
connoisseur and in his spare time he roasts his own coffee. |
