PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

Kim Genger has experience working with individuals, couples and families. She has specialized training and experience in sex therapy integrating Christianity into its practice. In addition, she has training and experience in the following areas:

• Premarital counseling
• Marital counseling
• Sexual issues (such as low/high desire, erectile dysfunction, pain)
• Sexual addiction/compulsivity
• Gender identity/sexual identity issues
• Online compulsion/online identity issues
• Integrity and joy in singleness

EDUCATION

Ms. Genger received her M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy with a Christian Sex Therapy Specialization from Richmont Graduate University in Atlanta, GA. She is an associate member of the American Board of Christian Sex Therapists. She is also a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist Candidate and is pursuing full certification from the International Institute of Trauma and Addiction Professionals. Kim trained under thera- pist Dr. Douglas Rosenau, author of The Celebration of Sex and other books.

PERSONAL

Kim is a member of the USTA and enjoys playing league tennis, as well as biking, cooking and live music.
