PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, Mr. Pope is an expert in the areas of relationship and emotional intimacy disorders. Mr. Pope is trained to work with individuals and couples in the following areas:

• Sexual and relationship addiction
• Pornography addiction
• Difficulties with emotional intimacy
• Co-dependency
• Addictions, e.g gambling, spending, work, etc.
• Issues surrounding trauma and abuse
• Premarital counseling
• Marriage and relationship counseling

EDUCATION

Mr. Pope received his B.A. degree in Psychology and Sociology and his M.S. degree in Counseling Psychology from Purdue University. He has received advanced training in the treatment of sexual addiction and emotional intimacy disorders from the International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals and is a Professional Member of the Society for the Advancement of Sexual Health. He is a Certified Christian Sexual Addiction Specialist.

PERSONAL

Mr. Pope served with Campus Crusade for Christ as a missionary providing mental health assistance for international missionaries. He is married and the father of two children.
