PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Substance Abuse Counselor, Mr. Miller has experience and training working with individuals, couples, families, adolescents and groups. He has over 17 years experience counsel- ing in the areas of:

• Anxiety and OCD

• Eating disorders
• Substance Abuse recovery

• Premarital Counseling – Prepare/Enrich Certified
• Relationship and Family Counseling

EDUCATION

Mr. Miller earned a B.S. from Northern Illinois University and his Masters in Clinical Psychology from Wheaton College graduate school. He also has advanced training in Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT) from the Albert Ellis Institute. He earned his post-graduate clinical experience treating clients in outpatient and inpatient settings and conducting clinical assessments for psychiatric admissions in both psychiatric hospitals and emergency rooms.

PERSONAL

Mr. Miller is married and has two teenage children. He enjoys reading, biking, jogging and spending time with his family.
