“Remember those who are in prison, as though in prison with them, and those who are mistreated, since you also are in the body.”
Hebrews 13:3
Erica approaches counseling with a heart for walking alongside others with compassion, hope, and encouragement. In addition to being a counselor, she is a Christ follower, a wife, and a mother. She believes that when clients feel truly heard and seen, they are better able to explore and understand their overall well-being and rediscover the beauty of life.
Her Christian faith is incorporated within her practice and serves as the foundational root of her therapeutic approach. Erica recognizes that each client is unique and that not every therapeutic approach works for every individual. She is passionate about meeting clients exactly where they are, coming alongside them as they explore the narrative of the story they are living out. Through an integrative and holistic approach, she blends various techniques together to best support her clients’ needs.
Alongside her counseling work, Erica is currently enrolled in District School of Ministry and is in the process of obtaining a ministry license. She serves in various areas within the church, with a special passion for prison ministry. She deeply values coming alongside women to offer hope and encouragement and finds meaning in witnessing lives transformed from dead to life.
