Taylor Thomas
M.A., LPC
Taylor is passionate about helping individuals feel seen, supported, and empowered as they navigate life’s challenges and move toward healing and growth. She strives to create a warm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where clients can safely explore their experiences, deepen self-understanding, and build meaningful change. Taylor believes therapy is most effective when clients feel genuinely known and accepted, and she approaches counseling through a person-centered and integrative lens that honors each individual’s unique story, strengths, and goals.
Taylor is especially passionate about helping individuals heal from past trauma and the lasting ways trauma can affect both the mind and body. She values helping clients better understand the connections between their experiences, emotions, relationships, and physical responses while developing practical tools for emotional regulation, resilience, and healing. Her approach is collaborative, supportive, and tailored to the unique needs and pace of each client.
In her work, Taylor incorporates evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and EMDR therapy. She also enjoys supporting couples in strengthening communication and connection.
Taylor has experience working with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, chronic illness, identity and self-esteem concerns, stress, and life transitions. She feels honored to walk alongside clients as they navigate difficult seasons, discover their strengths, and work toward greater healing and emotional wellness.
