Tyler Esposito

M.A., LPC

The way we walk through life, and how we deal with stress, how we cope with loss, how we interact with others, are all greatly impacted by the contexts we have lived in which weaves the unique narratives of each of our lives. A person’s story can be shaped by relationships, trauma, mental illnesses, and more. Tyler strives to meet his clients in the midst of their story and develop a trusting relationship to ensure each individual knows that they are not walking through life alone. Coming to counseling can be a crossroads in life for a lot of people. It is at these crossroads that Tyler joins clients in developing obtainable goals to facilitate life change and personal growth.

Tyler’s approach is both theologically and psychologically informed. He integrates a narrative approach with tools from both cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy, however, Tyler’s priority is to understand the client as a unique person and use techniques that fit the specific individual.

Tyler has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and couples. He is currently seeing clients at the Waukesha and Germantown locations.
