Zack Gruber

M.A., LPC-IT

Zack is passionate about ensuring that each person's story is heard, understood, and valued. His clinical approach draws from person-centered and narrative theories, highlighting the importance of connecting with our story and ourselves. He believes that clients are the experts of their own stories, and that by giving them a safe environment to be seen and heard, they can explore and understand that story more fully.

Zack also incorporates his Christian faith into his approach, providing a framework for individual stories within the broader narrative of God's story. He strives to create counseling relationships founded on grace, worth, and empathy, mirroring the Biblical model. Zack values and respects each individual client's beliefs and value system, and has the option to integrate faith if desired.

In addition to being a counselor, Zack is also a husband and father. He also spent three years working in ministry, focusing on adult discipleship and community. These identities and experiences have shaped Zack's approach to counseling and caring for others.
