Zihui (Regina) Lou
M.A., LPC-IT
Since the beginning of Adam’s fall, sadness and destruction have permeated our lives. When life is taking a toll on us, we often wonder– What is wrong with me?
As your therapist, Regina understands that it might be uncomfortable sitting in a counseling room in front of a stranger, sharing your personal thoughts and feelings. Regina is dedicated to creating a safe space for you to process painful memories, and she feels honored that you are trusting her with those stories. Regina has walked alongside with her clients from early teenager years to later adulthood, and seeks to tailor her counseling sessions to your needs.
Regina primarily focuses on CBT and DBT skills with the integration of psychoanalytic and trauma-informed perspectives. She believes in holistic healing, starting from the roots, rather than simply trimming the branches with band-aid solutions. Regina is committed to thoughtfully incorporating spiritual elements, both implicitly and explicitly, only in ways that feel meaningful and helpful to you. As your counselor, she prays that God would give her strength, wisdom, and the right words to say, so she can best serve her clients.
